Thanks to all who braved the chilly weather on Saturday and congrats to all of the winners. All of the results will be posted to the website within a few days, but here are some of the notable results.

 

Team standings:

 

1^st – You’re Still Away – 12 points

2^nd – Tee Bags – 10.5 points

3^rd – Four Jacks – 9 points

4^th – Tee Wrecks – 5.5 points

5^th – 3Putt – 5 points

6^th – Breakfast Balls – 4 points

 

Defending champ BB’ers start the season with a whimper! And newbies Tee Bags comes out swinging with a respectable 10.5 points. Nice job! Defending individual champ Gregg Zemlock starts out where he left off last year with a 4 point sweep over the ghost. Danny Riley and Troy Babel also won 4 points each.

 

Folks, I goofed on the skins. I copied the spreadsheet from a previous tournament, but I forgot to change the handicaps on each hole before we entered the scores. A couple of people got paid for skins they didn’t win and one person didn’t get paid for a skin he won. The net difference is only $5, so no worries. I’m not going to take money out of someone’s hand because of my clerical error. However, I do owe Will Howard $10 for the skin he legitimately won on hole #6. Will, I’ll pay you at the next tourney. The results will reflect the proper winners.

 

Speaking of skins, remember that you can’t win if you don’t play! For example, Pat’s birdie (for a net 2) would have scored a skin. The big winner at Western Skies was Jeff Dorchester, who won 2 closest-to-the-pin holes.
